Shuswap Lake is shaped like an addled H and is made up of four large arms.

The Okanagan Shuswap BC region is home to some of British Columbia’s most important rivers like the Adams River and the Thompson River.

The Adams River which travels through Haig Brown Provincial Park, is home to the Sockeye Salmon Run.

When camping the Shuswap BC there a endless opportunities to view beautiful wildlife including deer, elk, black bears and grizzly bears, mountain goats, Osprey, Western Grebes and Bald Eagles.

As well, boating, fishing, canoeing, camping, sailing, river rafting and kayaking, wakeboarding and tubing, water skiing, mountain biking and hiking are some of the popular activities in the area. And if River Rafting is your thing the Shuswap is one of BC’s best places for exciting rafting on the Adams River.
